NOAA/NWS Budget Cuts

No more research on transgender tornadoes. This is what many people who post here voted for.
was just about to say that they had a video for some reason about LGTQ on this channel
https://www.youtube.com/@SciShare/videos

however it seems like they removed it (i think unless im blind , i remember seeing it since its the youtube channel i got the new EF scale update)

was going to bring this up on a reason why they could be under attack by doge but its gone now (unless im blind)

Insider at the NWC I know said they’ve known about this internally for a while. Also, aren’t they ending the VORTEX project under this?
Yes, and even more importantly, the entire Severe Storms Laboratory

Wouldn't go as far as to say that: the NSSL isn't mentioned once in the tweet. Now of course this is horrible even if the NSSL is spared, and it COULD be in a different source, but I haven't seen anything that says the NSSL is getting cut and of course it's all dependent on if the BBB even passes the Senate. There's a decent chance it doesn't.

Now, I'm off to check how the BBB is doing in the Senate.

EDIT: It passed the Senate. Oh no.

Was bound to happen; it isn’t like the senate is currently representing the people.

Well.

That sucks.

EDIT: On the other hand, the BBB still needs to get past the second House vote. Call me naive, but there's a chance the bill could be stopped, as the GOP majority is narrow and a number of GOP politicians have shown opposition to the bill. But, they'll probably want to please the boss man, so......

Many are concerned that Trump will back an opponent in a primary, but if Elon gets involved financially, it could get interesting.

I'd fire off a letter to Dale Strong but it likely will do no good as he's so far up Trump's rear it won't matter. What a shame, too. He was such a good county commissioner.
