I just want to share with everyone a neat watercolor piece I commissioned from a North Alabama artist, Kimberlee Guthrie. She's based out of Huntsville but often has sessions in Decatur, too. I had her sketch a radar capture from the Columbus AFB NEXRAD during the 2011 Super Outbreak. I chose the radar capture from 3:47pm, as this was near the outbreak's peak intensity. It is now hanging in in my home office beside my Penn State forecasting certificate and my SKYWARN certification.

That's awesome.

I think we were in the same Skywarn class. I went to a fall class at the Jaycees building in 2008.

Mine was at the NASA Educator Resource Center on the Rocket Center campus. It's the brick building by the Marriott.
