There are two very strong circulations there now (one of which isn't warned and needs to be ASAP).

Edit: check that, they just warned it.

Radar confirmed TOG, at least briefly. Couplet fell apart somewhat on next scan but CC drop remained, possibly due to debris still suspended in the storm.

Things look to have calmed down for now, that prefrontal bowing cluster moving into scentral LA is the only thing with a SVR on it. Have to keep an eye on things to see if the midnight LLJ pulls some shenanigans, although 2018's history dictates it won't, this kind of setup warrants vigilance.

Likely a significant tornado just went from Alexandria to Pineville to Ball and is still looking very strong on velocity and CC..

Ok so you smart people out there. With a solar storm connecting with Earth as we are under these storm conditions, how much does it strengthen or weaken these storms?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say there's absolutely no correlation whatsoever.. that seems like a bit of a reach to me.

1 fatality in MS from a tree falling on a car per SPC reports page, currently logged as a straight-line wind event.

Any radar grabs of that LA tornado? I was asleep by that point.

I'm hearing from people at work that there is 10 reported fatalities in the Mynot community in Colbert County. I was asleep but supposedly there was a defined debris ball with the storm. Does anyone know about this?

I'm seeing nothing to indicate or suggest this. Sounds like just workplace gossip unless something changes..

A few wind reports on the SPC page from Franklin and Lauderdale Counties, but nothing from Colbert. Not impossible for reports to be delayed, but that NW corner of AL is/was in fairly marginal conditions for such a significant event.

I'm hoping you all are right. We have 2500 acres over there for hunting and the storm skirted our land

Overall a fairly substantial event. Things look to be wrapping up but had several QLCS tornadoes including what is likely a couple of significant ones across LA overnight. Going to be interested to see how this all shakes out.
