Next week is starting to grab my interest. Very typical look for a Dixie threat, potentially a fairly substantial one at that. Lets hope it doesn't get pushed to Saturday because that would not be good for college football games at all. Right now it looks like a Thursday/Friday threat where it needs to hold.

While the attention is currently on this upcoming system, there's another potentially even larger one brewing next week..
yikes... system next week looks dangerous thus far ... much larger area in play as a bombing slo heads towards lakes... great height fallls puts lot mid south and even Dixie in play per 0z euro....

Yikes. That looks rough.

And on Election Day too, that's not ideal. (And brings back unpleasant memories of Super Tuesday.)

A lot of things to work out, but wow I'm seeing some very scary things. This has a chance to be a very significant threat.

And. Now the euro is going with a less amped up solution for next week. ... go figure ....

The Euro has struggled with this system in general. The GFS and UKMET both continue to show it so I'm writing off the differences to model inconsistencies until we get a clearer picture as to what to fully expect over the next several days.

And even then.. its still 993 over the Ohio Valley.. that is still a significant severe weather threat..

There looks to possibly be severe weather along the immediate Gulf Coast on Monday. Also, it seems that this upcoming cold outbreak is modifying, and doesn’t stick around as long as earlier indications showed. GFS, and GFSFV3 both picking up on a more favorable pattern for severe weather Thanksgiving week.

Watch out for early next week. Could have a flood threat across the Deep South. Big heavy rain signal.
Yikes...something that worries me is that the average Joe doesn't seem to think about a risk of floods in November. It's similar to severe outbreaks, where people associate them with spring and summer but aren't as aware of the "second season".

There's also the question of moisture recovery from the previous disturbance, doesn't look too be much instability.
