Tore my meniscus at the rec center yesterday. Not fun.

Kory, how is your injury coming along ? I'm 12 weeks out from "Open Subscapularis Repair and Bicep Tenodesis"! Translated two large tears in the Rotator Cuff and bicep detached and cleaned up, scraped and reattached. Fun!

Well, the orthopedic I went and saw actually prefers physical therapy first before attempting surgery to fix it (I like that idea too). So, I'm in my 3rd week of physical therapy. The pain and swelling I had went away, but I still feel the occasional catching/popping in my knee. I can't run right now, but I am able to continue biking/walking and I have reintroduced the elliptical back into my exercise routine.

Just can't play pick up football which I love....or really anything high impact. If I continue having problems, I may opt for surgery, but it's manageable right now. I just have to wear one of those bionic knee braces...

I did the PT for a month to see if we could strengthen and reduce pain. No success thus surgery. I'm back to riding and running. Still working on strength. Four more PT sessions and hopefully last visit with Dr. Lemak next week.

Wow... that's a bad injury! I had a friend that tore his bicep several months ago and is now just getting back into the gym doing very light weights with high reps trying to regain some strength and muscle tone. He injured it by trying to lift something heavy out of his trunk with his body turned at an awkward angle. Just a hazard of growing older. How did you injure yours?

Bicycle accident several years ago. Going down hill about 35 MPH and a girl pulled out in front of me. Braked but clipped the back of her car and went flying about 20 feet. Landed on the back of the shoulder. It has just progressively gotten worse to the point something had to be done.

I hope it heals quickly and completely and feels like it did before the accident. I had my left shoulder scoped about 15 yrs ago when bones started impinging on each other. My right one is beginning to hurt like the left one did back then. Growing old is no fun.

It has healed well. I am back to riding and running and lifting light weights. Before surgery I could not lift a gallon of milk. I can now so I consider it a success. It may be 6-12 months before I am totally healed and have all range of motion back. I was fortunate to have a good surgeon and physical therapists.

I need a horn like this!

Surprised he didn't jump higher! On another note, I LOVE watching Russian dash cam videos. So glad I don't have to drive there.
