Dangerous precedent. It is clear Trump has contempt for the Bill of Rights. Why do we need the first amendment, he wonders. We need to regulate the second amendment, as he has directed the DOJ to unconstitutionally do.

“I don’t know why they don’t take care of a situation like that,” Trump said. “I think it’s embarrassing for the country to allow protesters. You don’t even know what side the protesters are on.”

Look, I vehemently disagree with NFL protests. But if the NFL wants to allow it, they have every right to. We cannot pick and choose what can and cannot be peacefully protested. As disgusting as the Westboro Baptist Church is, I will defend their right to spew hate. I don't agree with it in any stretch of the imagination, but it is a slippery slope otherwise.

President Bush, in retrospect, may have not made the best decisions at the time, but I could at least say with confidence he did was he thought was best for the country. I was young at the time, but I remember a sense of unity that gripped the nation after. My gosh, how we have become so divided in just the last 15 years.

Something is rotten in the Dallas police department. All I'm saying on that issue. The way they have handled this whole officer-involved shooting is pretty sketchy in the least.

It's almost like you dared him to keep going.

He won't even acknowledge the 3000 dead. Even some blame-shifting would be quasi normal. Nah, he's going to go with the 3000 being made up to hurt HIM. Because it is always about Donald.

This is peak NBC News y'all. In an attempt to rebuke President Trump, a national media outlet downplayed a dangerous Hurricane Florence. Never in my life...

Hurricane Florence was downgraded to a Cat 1 storm when it made landfall. To me it looked like Trump tried to falsely pump up the intensity of the storm to make it look like he is totally on top of the situation to cover his butt for the perception of his total failure in the response to the Puerto Rican response.

He thinks the governmental response to Maria was excellent. I think the 3,000 dead might beg to differ if they could.

I want you to break it down for me. What are the ages, sex and circumstances of each death. Drowning ? Tree falling on house, etc. ? The coroners ust have filed a report. I would like to see these reports. I'll be waiting.

Or you could read the GWU report detailing exactly why that isn’t the case... but it’s probably too mathy and sciency for you.

That report is BS. They did not see 3000 dead bodies. They used a computer model. Real evidence I can assume is not something in which you are interested. Who was responsible for the PR power grid and its' dilapidated state ? And for stealing money appropriated for upgrades and improvements ? Trump ?

They also didn't see all of the dead bodies in many of the wars the US has participated in. Are you going to claim that the soldiers who didn't return home were not killed? Do you believe medals given to the families of supposed fallen soldiers are "BS" because there's no "real evidence"? There are no coroner reports for tribal deaths in remote portions of Africa - given the lack of "real evidence", do you contend that tribal members live forever? I can not guarantee that the count is 3000, but I am certain that it's well above 64 (or whatever the absurdly low number cited is). It's obvious that you feel the same way, or you wouldn't also question the issues with the power grid and financial appropriation.
