Of course you didn't see it. Not being disrespectful but this was probably your first presidential election. As I stated over and over in the old forum, I held my nose and voted for the Republican candidates for president and Congress for many cycles only to see them dishonor their promises, explode the debt and in many ways weaken the country. I'll stop here but I think you and other doubters will be very pleasantly surprised and pleased over the next few years! Now go study young man!

There is a certain amount of cowardice going on in this thread by people who were some of the biggest critics of Obama. They constantly critiqued and demanded answers as it pertained to Obama, and accused his supporters of being kool-aid drinkers incapable of saying anything bad at all about Obama or the Democratic Party.

Some might see it as hypocrisy (that's true too), but it goes beyond that to an act of cowardice because of how boldly these people lambasted those that wouldn't constantly attack and denigrate Obama. They are now completely silent about any criticism of Trump. Almost like they are incapable of saying another bad about him. Perhaps they have drunk the Trump kool-aid. Very interesting... when the shoe is on the other foot...

so we get treatment at our place of employment for cheaper than most

if i was less fortunate of a person and me or my family had more substantial health concerns, i'd probably be more than 400% bernie right now. but it's hard to juggle when you can't afford any higher taxes without big hits to your lifestyle when people you love depend on every hour you work for food, shelter, diapers, electricity.
i try to balance that by putting myself in others shoes though, still
so it's a hard thing to reconcile
