The actual tweet: "NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!"

This is our president. Our leader. Yikes.

If this is Trump's red line, similar to the one he harassed Obama for making towards Syria, then I'm sure he'll follow through and not end up being a hypocritical donkey. Either way... Yikes.

More likely, it's just an attempt to distract from the Helsinki story. SAD!

I just hope our choices in 2020 aren't Donald Trump versus a far left figure like Bernie.

I always find it interesting that no one ever talks about how Russia also tried to help Bernie, and did a lot of social media attacks to support him and hurt Clinton.

The Boomers gave us Trump. The Millennials are going to give us Bernie. Russia is thrilled to see us so polarized and divided. The Trumpers and the Dem Socialists/far-left are too simple-minded and cultish to understand they're being lead along on a leash by a country that wants to destroy ours.

Oh well. Enjoy the death of America.

Bernie's utopia is killing its own citizens...of course after de-arming them under the guise to reduce crime.

Pretty crazy that a communist/totalitarian government would turn on its own people. It's like this hasn't happened a dozen times before.

Everything that has gone wrong in Venezuela went wrong because the people (particularly the "forgotten" working class) supported a cult of personality around an unqualified demagogue that told them all their problems were due to a hidden cabal of elites and their globalist allies, and only he could fix it and save them. Chavez gave long speeches in which he blasted his enemies with insults and threatened to jail them. He loved to use silly nicknames and wordplay to create caricatures of his political opponents. He implemented tariffs, ignored experts, and cozied up to Russia while bashing Europe and Western Democracy. He convinced his supporters that the media shouldn't be trusted and pulled the licenses of those that didn't back him.

Thank goodness we are too smart for that here in the United States.

All that sounds too familiar

Unfortunately, I don't see anything different. The left is so far left now that what used to be "fringe" candidates are now moderate Democrats. The right continues chugging along with Trump. He has such a hardcore following, it seems he can literally say or do anything and they 100% blindly back him. See the approval rating jump after the Helsinki summit.

There are only a few rogue Republicans, such as Jeff Flake, who seem to push back. But the GOP isn't going to "dump Trump."

This is what many people refer to as "matting".

Just remember that what your seeing and what your reading is not what's happening

So, 12 billion for farmers. Reminds me of how Chavez used to dole out loans to Venezuelan farmers because they couldn't get fertilizer and seeds due to his tariffs. That's after he put tariffs on imported food (promised to be a temporary measure). When that didn't work, and land re-distribution didn't work he started in with quotas and price controls. And, yes, as gangston pointed out - - commisars came back into vogue and oversaw the production.

How is this any different than what Bernie Sanders would be doing?

If Congress wanted to fix this they could. Put tariffs or special taxes on the Trump Organization that apply until all tariffs are restored to their previous levels. Can easily override Trump's veto.

Better hope something happens soon or we might end up like Venezuela. Where the people starve to death and eat rotting food from trash cans.

Gotta wonder what other recordings Cohen has on Trump. Certainly there would have to be something gigantic to have any impact since all of the other unethical stuff doesn't seem to be doing much other than making interesting headlines. I can't imagine how Trump supporters would feel if the shoe was on the other foot and Obama/Hillary was chronically lying and repeatedly being caught doing so, putting tariffs on our allies, befriending our adversaries, history of affairs & paying the women off, fired/lost almost all of their original major cabinet appointees and had several people who were staffed at the WH or in the campaign indicted for criminal activity, etc...
Actually I can imagine what that would feel like.

What do you consider the 3 biggest lies told by Trump so far in his presidency?

It is no longer a felony to knowingly give someone aids in California, but you WILL face jail time if you give someone a straw. What a liberal utopia.

There's so many I can't imagine picking a top 3! I can't even even keep up with them.
