What a moron, I use a pocket knife for all kinds of reasons. What does the mayor use, his finger nails or teeth?
I have a half dozen pocket knives and take one with me everywhere I go. Boy scouts motto, be prepared!

Definitely not surprising that Trump uses/used shady legal counsel.
The only surprising thing to me is that people elected him to represent and lead the United States of America.
I'm all for tough scrutiny on everything Trump outside of his personal inmediate family affairs.
We are a great country and we deserve a great and respectable president. Mr. Shady in chief needs to be an open book so Americans can see and evaluate his character, now and in the past. He's had shady deals, shady history, sketchy behavior... Not the kind of personality or history I would want speaking on behalf of the country.
I'm glad FBI raided Cohen. They must've had some substantial evidence to get the warrant. If the raid comes up with nothing then Mueller and the FBI would look pretty bad, and I don't think they'd risk that unless they were certain there was something to find.

I agree. The only sounds in DC coming from crickets and frogs would make a great chorus. Probably govern better as well.

Benjamin Wey would certainly disagree. His case fell apart due to negligence by the FBI in the same Southern NY office. It was an absolute and total embarrassment by the FBI. As I have said, they are far from perfect.

Cliven Bundy would also certainly disagree. Another case of mishandled evidence that could've landed the family in jail for life. Not to mention that the whole series of events at their ranch eerily resembled Ruby Ridge....another absolute abuse of power by the FBI. But, the feds were exonerated by the FBI chief after flagrant violations. No accountability. In the case of Bundy, they spent THREE years lying about the role of snipers in the 2014 stand off. There are cases where justice was not served...and it was due to FBI incompetence.

As I stated last night, my opinion and trust in the feds are about as low as whale crap.

If Trump would've just paid Stormy Daniels himself, and not funneled it through his organization, this in large would've had no legs. But, yeah, it appears Cohen likely broke the law. On the other hand, did Trump know about it? That would probably lead to conspiracy to violate campaign finance law. This isn't going away any time soon, but appears to be separate from the collusion investigation.

On top of that, Berman, the US attorney for the Southern NY District, a Trump appointee and donor recused himself. I'm sure Trump is fuming over that much like he is Sessions.

The guys over at Weather.us have a special weather update. I’m thinking a 60% chance of tomahawks.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh at that.

Not in a good way, but because getting mad won't do me any good. Might as well just laugh at it and hope for the best.

Agreed. And this kind of stuff is expected.

And, as always........ALWAYS......there's a tweet from the past.

I like to go through the subreddit "Trump criticizes Trump" - there's so much hypocrisy.

Two things I picked up from the Zuckerberg testimony. One, Ted Cruz got him to admit Silicon Valley tech companies are far left leaning. Second, he said that they were "responsible for all content." The legal ramifications from that would probably tank Facebook as they would no longer be a platform, but a publisher. In that sense, if someone is killed over Facebook live, Facebook is also responsible for it. If someone commits copyright violations, Facebook is responsible for it. The list goes on...

Zuck put so many feet in his mouth yesterday.

Teachers in Pennsylvania get tiny bats to confront shooters.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/11/us/erie-bats-school-shooting.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur

These 18" symbolic wooden bats cost $3 each and given to the teachers of the Millcreek Township School District. 600 bats. Why not just pass out squirt guns? You don't want to let teachers arm themselves with guns but you'll give them a tiny bat and ask them to do....what exactly with it? Hand to hand combat? Who brings a toy bat to a gun fight? These people are who we put in charge of educating our children, y'all. Think about that a minute. Let that sink in.

Now we have RNC officials paying for abortions...

I pretty much said this was a probability when I was blasted for voting for Doug Jones. I was told I was no longer pro-life because of the vote. Republicans don't want abortion to be illegal any more than anyone else.
