With all the fascinating headlines, the FBI raid doesn't even sound all that surprising to me. Surely something interesting will come of it.

What I stated was 100% true...whether you like it or not.
There is no way for you to prove that at all.

Anyway, you deflected. Cohen and Trump are in deep, whether you like it or not. I don’t have much interest in the gun debate. I’m interested in Trump’s corruption.

SCOOP: Mueller investigating $150,000 donation Ukrainian steel titan made to Trump's foundation in 2015 for 20 min video talk Trump gave to conference in Kiev. Michael Cohen arranged the payment. Trump was running for R nom at the time. w/@maggieNYT https://t.co/yydBI0xMq4

Irony.

Sorry I'm not posting false rumors about indictments and links to ThinkProgress like you.

And it ISN'T about the gun debate. It's about a lack of accountability in the highest law enforcement agency of the country. That is what I'm interested in. NOTHING has been done to fix address what has failed. But what I originally posted doesn't discredit any of whatever this Mueller investigation has morphed into. I just wish the FBI/law enforcement had more interest/accountability in saving lives when they're getting dozens of leads and tips. But, I guess that is too much to ask these days.

First, I said it was a rumor.
Second, I don’t know what you expect the fbi to say. Are they supposed to tell everybody exactly how they are going to start investigating potential gun violence? That wouldn’t be smart.

Investigating the corruption of the inner circle of the POTUS is well within the scope of duties of the FBI. They should devote every resource available to it.

You deflected.

You sure get defensive when someone even brings forth legitimate complains about the accountability and credibility of the FBI. This isn't the first incident and I must add it is very bizarre.

I feel like those guys work hard for not a lot of pay and are generally not corrupt.

You seem to go on the offensive against the FBI every chance you get. This isn’t the first incident and I must add it is very bizarre.

For example, the Cohen raid had absolutely nothing to do with Nicholas Cruz in any way, but you went there.

Should we not demand the best from the highest law enforcement agency in the land? Respecting the job, but holding the folks in it to the highest standard possible aren't mutually exclusive.

Holy cow this guy is a threat to the very fabric our country is built on.

ARE YOU TIRED OF WINNING YET?

What's funny is there would be so much pushback from the right if this were Hillary Clinton proposed an AWB that everybody would be running out to buy one and nothing would ever get passed. Now, when it's a colostomy bag with an "R" next to his name, everyone is looking around like "well, he duped us."

And we were worried about Obama coming for the guns! Where ya at, Ted?! Come save us from Trump!

Not sure who is the bigger threat to civil liberties and the future of them in this country. Donald Trump or the Democrats?

Can't wait for gun manufacturers and the NRA to sue the living crap out of the Trump admin over the bump stock ban. They're gonna ream them in court.

Just leaving this here before I get accused of shilling for Trump.

We should. But we also have to understand that people make mistakes, and perhaps bringing up one botched investigation that is totally unrelated to another, ongoing investigation isn’t exactly productive.

We know you aren’t pro Trump.

There has been more than just one incident where the FBI has dropped the ball/escalated incidents where they could've deescalated them. This one just happened to be so recent and preventable, that it sours my trust. I'm not saying we shouldn't ignore the corruption with Trump (never once have I said that). I just wish we could see this kind of A+ effort across the board. Of course, there are many good people in the FBI. But we have to continually evaluate and remove those who cannot/will not perform to the highest standard. I'm not so confident they're currently doing so.

I can’t understand your lack of confidence in the Trump investigation.

It's not so much lack of confidence in this investigation, it's across the board at the FBI. I'm not in the boat of the binary thinking with regards to this Trump collusion stuff. We have people entrenched on both sides with one saying its the "Deep State" trying to avenge Hillary's loss by taking out Trump, while we have others saying Trump absolutely "stole" the presidency by working with a foreign power. I think it could be something in the middle. Investigations being launched with ulterior motives that do uncover wrongdoing. I could see us reaching a point where there is obstruction, but maybe no meaningful collusion. I don't know. I don't have the evidence.

As far as today, it seems the raids by the FBI did not pertain to the mandate that Mueller is abiding by for the investigation. He passed it off to the Manhattan FBI branch. But I mean, is it really a shock that Trump uses shady as all hell legal counsel? Not really.

What a time to be alive. Seems like strict gun laws have turned London into a crime ridden hell-hole. Next car attack, what will the answer be? No one needs a car?

Definitely not surprising that Trump uses/used shady legal counsel.
The only surprising thing to me is that people elected him to represent and lead the United States of America.
I'm all for tough scrutiny on everything Trump outside of his personal inmediate family affairs.
We are a great country and we deserve a great and respectable president. Mr. Shady in chief needs to be an open book so Americans can see and evaluate his character, now and in the past. He's had shady deals, shady history, sketchy behavior... Not the kind of personality or history I would want speaking on behalf of the country.
I'm glad FBI raided Cohen. They must've had some substantial evidence to get the warrant. If the raid comes up with nothing then Mueller and the FBI would look pretty bad, and I don't think they'd risk that unless they were certain there was something to find.

What a moron, I use a pocket knife for all kinds of reasons. What does the mayor use, his finger nails or teeth?
