Subtle wobble just south of west looks like. Eye looks a little obscured. Skimming the coast of Cuba. NOAA reported about a 5mb drop in pressure. Curious to see the 10PM advisory....

Thread hog sorry folks. But is this thang moving slightly south of west?? Or a subtle wobble? Zero shear. I see no reason it doesn't move even farther west before the 'so-called right turn'....Chime in peeps and correct me if I'm wrong here. I know the northward turn is inevitable, but good gosh, when??

Eye looks to be bouncing right back off the coast of Cuba. Is this the 'turn' we've been waiting for........
New graphic from NHC has it forecasted to go even further north on the FL peninsula before landfall. Not sure if it's turning just yet.

One thing I keep noticing is Irma may be close to stalling over the Tennessee Valley. The track earlier today had Irma moving from extreme NE Alabama on Tuesday to the Nashville area on Wednesday, moving only about 120 miles in 24 hours. Now, the track is considerably west but with much less movement. Irma is currently predicted to be centered just west of the Ardmore, Al area around 8pm Tuesday night, and by 8pm Wednesday night only be around the Lawrenceburg, Tn area, or 30 miles in 24 hours.

Could be right for sure. That is a lot of ground to cover though. Wonder if that subtle turn might be starting as we speak.....

You're NOT a thread hog! I'm lamenting how quiet the board is. Pre-server-crash, this thread would have been up to 60, 70, or *more* pages by now. I'm actually going to the live thread on Reddit to get my update-every-second fix.

Euro keeps shifting west. I'm wondering if perhaps it might go west of Tampa and not come ashore until maybe the Cedar Key area putting the entire peninsula on the bad side of Irma.

Gfs/cmc/nam all came east a bit overnight. Definitely starting the turn and not looking as healthy with the Cuba interaction.

Well turning back east just a tad will put me back in the cone, but my area has not gotten out of the RFQ yet
