Trash. Utter trash.

When the AD is fine with it maybe you're overreacting a little bit.

I know its a tradition for kids to go to games, but those really are not child-friendly atmospheres at all. I'm strongly against putting any sort of age limit on attending a game but let's not act like they're not events geared more towards adults. If you take your child to an Alabama game (which if I ever have one I'm going to do so), you need to go in realizing they'll hear some things you wouldn't want coming out of their mouth.

I love the righteous indignation from the older Bama fans. The same ones who suck the fun out of gameday atmospheres. I was in the crowd and I wouldn't change a thing.

Then you should never complain about the “class” of another fan base in the future.

I've only complained about the physical violence/threats perpetrated by fans (and saying a few cuss words doesn't amount to assault). See, LSU fans hurling urine filled balloons at Bama fans. I don't give a rat's behind they play "neck" or that Odell Beckham pays the fines the NCAA enforces. And you won't find a post that I've ever made regarding "mean words" another fan base has said.

I saw what Greg Byrne said and he is wrong.

There's a difference between hearing something you've taught them not to say and the stadium PA leading thens of thousands of people in shouting F-bombs repeatedly during a song. Its trash and completely lacking in class. Kind of funny coming from the fan base who likes to throw the word class around like they're the reason the word was invented.

Then you are part of the problem.

There is an older element to the crowd that doesn't want anyone up cheering and would prefer if everyone sat the entire game, and they are a big reason why BDS isn't exactly the most intimidating place to play(though it is getting better).

I know some may find this shocking but it is possible to have fun, make noise, root for your favorite team while simultaneously retaining your dignity.

Greg Byrne will not be removing Dixieland Delight even though it was apparently not done right during the Iron Bowl yesterday. According to twitter he got quite a kick out of it and it will remain a fixture going forward.

As an Alabama fan I find it disgusting a nice tradition has been turned into something vulgar.

Lost in the sanctimony of the older Bama fans in here, Terrell Lewis is coming back. This is huge for the playoffs. Snap count versus UGA and should be full steam ahead after.

I took my two grandchildren ages seven and eight. They should not have to hear garbage like that at a football game.

Someone help me out here... why would Gus accept a reduced buyout to remain Aubs coach? Were the choices he gets fired now and receives full buyout or gets to stay another year for a reduced buyout? Sounds like Aub is laying the groundwork to fire him next year when it’s more affordable. Doesn’t sound like a good business move by Gus

He's obviously an idiot. I guess his ego could not handle losing the Auburn job.
