Ah, so Trump gave into Kim's "demands" according to KCNA.

NK has been portraying the summit as Kim going toe-to-toe with Trump and winning. Shocking NK would use the summit as propaganda. Of course, helping Kim consolidate further control of NK by pushing back on hardliners is just an unfortunate byproduct.

When the words "Kim cares about his people..." came flying out of Trump's mouth yesterday I...saw...red. Cares about his people? CARES ABOUT HIS PEOPLE? I can't with this president any more. Would someone give this man a freaking clue? Is he even capable of comprehending facts? This is not an appropriate statement to make when the world knows IT ISN'T TRUE. Think, Mr. President, about your words. God help me, I can't with this man any more. I honestly can't.

Meanwhile, there's a special place in hell for people like the PM of Canada. But Kim, he's a swell guy. This is our world now.

I'm surprised it took you this long. The quote that sealed the deal for me was :

"Take the guns first, we will have due process later. I like taking the guns early." -Donald Trump 3/1/2018

Also, this was a close second:

The pastor’s views on Roman Catholicism are equally extreme. In 2010, Jeffress declared that the Catholic Church was a “counterfeit” religion that had its origins in a Babylonian “pagan religion,” making Catholicism the “Whore of Babylon” foretold in the Book of Revelation.

“Isn’t that the genius of Satan?” Jeffress said on his radio show, Path to Victory. “If you want to counterfeit a dollar bill, you don’t do it with purple paper and red ink, you’re not going to fool anybody with that. But if you want to counterfeit money, what you do is make it look closely related to the real thing as possible.”

Pffttt....It's like you don't even know me. I just cannot abide having a sitting US President play footsie with a murdering dictator and then act like....What, he's a nice guy. He cares about his people. On top of not having a clue about our own constitution. This was before he'd even met with Kim. But I was done with the whole debacle after those words were uttered because I knew...KNEW...Trump had no damn clue what he was doing.

My comments were tongue in cheek. I think you share my same views of everything Trump, but convey them much more succinctly and eloquently.

Oh, I know, Kory. Mine were also in jest. It's kind of a phrase I use sometimes... "It's like you don't even know me". It was tongue and cheek as well. I knew what you meant. Yesterday and today was just.... ugh! (I have no eloquent words to use!)

I think Walsh has a point here regarding the recent upticks in suicide. We are more aware of mental health now than ever before, yet somehow, suicide rates continue to climb. I guess when you have recent generations being taught that we are nothing but highly evolved pond scum that through monumental chance humans wound up where they are. Humans, we are told, are responsible for everything bad happening. Each breath adds to the damage caused by humans to this earth (I never understood why people separate humans from the rest of nature...we are APART of nature). We are taught that we have no purpose beyond this life, there is nothing but seeking immediate pleasure through any means necessary. Too often I see people living by the motto "To hell with tomorrow, let's live for today."

Add into the fact that we place no value on human life. We let doctors who are supposed to preserve life, by any means necessary, kill the most innocent of our species. We now have developed nations letting doctors assist patients with ending it all. So, I can see why the decay in culture, the decay of morals, the decay in just being decent humans had led to an uptick in suicides....and it cannot all be attributed to mental health services being improperly funded. Yes mental health services should be the utmost importance, but it goes beyond that.

We really do have a very significant cultural issue in society. It's not even just the "everybody is bad" mentality that has seeped into the culture, but in addition the victimhood/aggregator philosophy that has become so rampant. It's not just about race and skin color, like white men being scum and black women being victimized slaves, but we shun the rich and then tell poor people they're all criminals. What do we expect? Everybody is constantly in panic mode about our lives, every little issue is turned up to an 11 by the media and it has induced panic in our society.

When will our children get taught values again? I remember being appalled in high school because kids thought it was cool to stay up till 2 am on school nights drinking freshman year (15 year olds), brag about the Fs on their report card, and ditch half their classes. Hell, ditching is such a norm nowadays that nobody even thinks twice about doing it. If we want to fix our cultural issues, we have to reclaim the culture, but as long as the left continues to promote the notions that the family structure is a social construct and social values aren't important outside of LGBT/race, and the right pushes that the only ideas that really matter are those that "trigger the libtards", these issues are going to continue.

What a dump my home state is. Not surprised a Democrat, John Bel Edwards, who was elected continues to blame the previous admin over 3 years since taking office. Louisiana continues to slip into the abyss and a lot of it can be attributed to Edwards anti-business and anti-oil and gas policies that have crippled the states main economic engine. You can't survive off tourism in a state as dilapidated as Louisiana.

I think Trump and Kim do understand each other, make the most power and money you can even at other people's expense.

The author of the tweet is somewhat incorrect that the war ended in 1953 as technically all we did was sign an armistice.

But, an 18 year old killed in 1953, would've been born in 1935. If his mother gave birth at 18 she would've been 99 years old during the campaign. Even if you stretch and say the mother was only 15, you'd still be looking at looking at a mother that was 96 years old. How many 96-99 year olds were at Trump's campaign rallies and got one-on-one time with Trump?

A harmless lie you might say. No, it is just another case of Trump lying when there's zero good reason to do so. No one opposes getting the remains of our dead back from North Korea. Why invent a story making it sound like you are doing so at the behest of a parent? We all know WHY. Because Trump had to make it about himself and how great of a leader he is.

What's funny is the extreme hyperbole of North Korean propaganda really isn't that far off from Trump's frequent lies. Things like getting 14 holes-in-one at golf, etc are not that dissimilar from some of the insane whoppers Trump has told since he announced his campaign for POTUS.

Matt will tell us that Obama also lied, and that there's some conceivable scenario in which Trump isn't lying. Give me a break. It is insulting that Trump thinks the American people are this stupid. Maybe we are since we keep letting him get away with it...

Isn't Netanyahu under investigation for corruption? Pretty sure he was just brought in for a questioning just 3 days ago....

Not sure I'd call him a real leader.

Millenials are the worst thing to ever grace the world with their presence. They have no foundation of principles. They are guided purely by emotion. They teem with hypocrisy and have endless victim/aggressor mentality.

Phillips asked: "So a Supreme Court case yesterday ruled that a baker in Colorado did not have to provide a cake for a gay wedding because of his religious beliefs and preferences. Do you agree or disagree with that ruling?"

As expected, many of the students disagreed:

"I think you should have to bake the cake ‘cause it’s his job."

"The fact that our Supreme Court found that this was an okay thing, I find appalling."

"If his job is to bake a cake for a wedding, even if he doesn’t agree with it, he should still have to bake a cake for that wedding."

Phillips then flipped the script, and asked the students the following: "If there were an African-American baker, and someone came in and asked them to make a cake for a KKK rally, should they be forced to do it?"

The responses to Phillips’ follow-up question were not so quick:

"Mmm, I [would] say no."

"Um, well, yeah, no. I mean, like, they shouldn’t, but I guess that kind of just, like, contradicts what I just said."

During one exchange, a student replied that she wasn’t "sure on that subject." Phillips asked: "What would be the difference?" The student had no response.

Phillips switched it up again, asking if a Jewish baker should have to make a cake for a Palestinian wedding. Still, some of the students continued to take a stand against the baker.

"As for his religion, I think that his ability to exercise his freedom of religion ends when that encroaches on another person’s ability to be who they are," one student said.

This is a giant f*****g circus at this point and it's actually pretty funny to watch. Also, most of us already knew the millennials are morally spineless. They always have been more about feelings than anything else which is honestly one of the biggest reasons Trump actually won.
