Tornado split the difference between Hayti and Caruthersville. Talk about lucky...

Not to say it didn't hit anything out there...

I want to be optimistic that it missed Hayti, but am hesitant to say for sure because of how the storm is kind of splitting the difference between KNQA and KPAH, and I don't know how much the beam height could be distorting the view of where on the ground the tornado actually is.

Considering that it (very luckily) didn't hit Caruthersville head-on I honestly doubt it. That's not at all to say that it isn't an intense, probably violent tornado.

Insane winds speeds on that storm fro m the KPAH site. Man, that's monster and a great example of a tornado traveling for many miles from an independent storm supercell
