The situation in south TN sounds dire, multiple impassable roads are hindering emergency services. THP dispatch recently advised they have been unable to make contact with Hardin County (next county east from Selmer).

Appears a significant hit on Grand Junction, TN is becoming increasingly likely. The CC drop has only deepened on its approach to the area.

That literally just happened to PAH earlier in this outbreak, but fortunately they have a backup generator and their radar is still operational.
Maybe MEG doesn't have a generator? Who knows. In any case, dire situation unfolding.

The entire Memphis NWS office is offline. They took a power hit. Shreveport is backing up.

New scan from MEG came in. Power is restored.

Terminal is back too, though it's getting out of range; probably gonna be a long tracker as it's just as intense looking now as it was when we lost several scans for a bit
This tornado passed about five miles south of my home.

Looks like the tornado actually moved more to the east, a direct hit on Grand Junction, TN from a violent tornado is now imminent. Next scan will reveal just how significant it will be.
