SSCRAM, which uses HRRR/RAP data to approximate severe risks, is putting out alarming numbers for West Georgia later tonight. Also shows really strong numbers all across Alabama at 00Z.

Looks like we got spared imo. Instability never made it, never had sunshine, too much cloud cover, and now more rain. Two thumbs up from me!

Not sure if they do have a specific policy; they issued a TORE for a very rural area earlier.

If the weather radar I was working with only updated every six to eight minutes, I'd be struggling to issue warnings too.

(I'm sorry, I had to mention how much their radar sucks. Not only does it make it incredibly frustrating to follow the storms from a weather enthusiast's POV, but it's also incredibly dangerous for the people who rely on timely warning dissemination.)
