Now over 70 wind reports and 10 tornado reports. Nice little event still unfolding. Won't surprise me to see a dozen tornadoes and over 100 wind reports once this event is over.

We should get some redevelopment later this evening and overnight, but I'm skeptical about atmospheric recovery that would lead to any severe. Likely just another round of rain, despite the HRRR bullish moisture return.
Yeah, it seems like when models showed that this morning, for instance, they also showed this first round breaking up some. Obviously that hasn't happened.

Actually wow, significant tree damage throughout Walker county, just not at the house. Surprised the power is still on.

The risk was increased to enhanced in that area for at least one outlook this morning but went back to slight. Should be time for another outlook soon.

Every year.... lol. I don't understand why they don't move that event into mid/late May.

In my opinion, Panoply should be in October. I was at the National Cornbread Festival yesterday in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. I hope everyone there knows that area is under a tornado watch and the line will probably be in Marion County, Tennessee before the festival closes.

LOL, Jason Simpson on WHNT called Research Park Boulevard its old name Rideout Road.
Technically it is still Rideout on the Arsenal.
