I've voted for Mo Brooks in the past but after his recent statement about pre-existing conditions coming from not living good clean lives, I'm through with him. He needs to go to St. Jude's or Bham Children's Hospital and tell that crap to the sick kids there.

I don't think what Brooks said is exactly what he was trying to say. I believe he meant to say if you take care of yourself, exercise, eat right, don't abuse drugs or alcohol you should not be penalized. It was an inartful way of saying it but not what he truly meant or feels. Just my little ole humble opinion.

You're probably right:

"In fairness, a lot of these people with pre-existing conditions, they have those conditions through no fault of their own," he said. "And I think our society, under those circumstances, needs to help. The challenge though is that it's a tough balancing act between the higher cost of these mandates which denies people coverage because they can't afford their health insurance policies...and having enough coverage to help those people truly in need."

Again, not really surprising. Holier than thou, self-righteous liberals who think they know better than anyone else led to the election loss. Identity politics by the left will continue to lead to their downfall...which I am okay with.

Instead, the data show that these voters were simply alienated by the cultural myopia of Democrats, who have focused on an intersectionality-laden definition of American politics, labeling straight white men the bad guy in their bizarre morality play.

Comey was not expecting this. He was about to give a speech to potential recruits when he found out. comey, Clapper, Brennan and Obama have all said they have seen no evidence of collusion between the trump campaign and Russia. If there were evidence, Obama would have made sure that it was released before the election.

Most people's views lie on the spectrum between the two polarized ends, but all the narratives foment this black-n-white absurdity. As far as Trump-Russia, if there's no evidence then why are there grand juries investigating?

Those grand jury subpoenas were also issued at the advisement of Comey, who couldn't even get the facts of the Huma Abedin investigation right just this past week. Comey was inept and therefore couldn't properly lead the highest investigative agency of the land. It was literally blunder after blunder and should've been fired on day one of Trump's admin. I lost all faith in his leadership beginning back last July...

Now, the fact that Trump incessantly tweets and talks about the Russia ties, does seem fishy. But if Flynn did lie about the connections, who does that fall back on? Clearly Flynn had a lot of baggage and it was a poor choice, but with so many other investigators saying the admin did no wrong because they were misled, how do we view that? Flynn broke the law...there is no disagreement with that.

Comey had to correct testimony he gave under oath to a Congressional committee just last week. He totally botched Clinton's email investigation. I think he enjoyed being part of the story. That is not how the director of the FBI should operate. Time for him to go.
